How admission works

• All seats: Through Gujarat state counselling, run by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gandhinagar. State counselling fills the government quota, management quota and NRI seats in private colleges.
• Students from other states: Careers360 lists Gujarat as 'closed'. Other-state candidates are effectively limited to NRI seats; one guide (Sartha) says management seats are open too, but its own NRI table requires Gujarat schooling, so treat as closed unless the 2026 rules say otherwise.
