Andhra Pradesh has 3,385 seats in 19 government colleges and 3,400 seats in 19 private colleges (2025).

Who can apply

Competent-authority (Category A / govt) seats go to local candidates of AP's local areas under the Presidential Order local-status rules; candidates who migrated from Telangana need a local-status certificate.

Private college seats: Management Category B is split into B1 (15%), open to candidates from all over the country, and B2 (85%) for AP local candidates only; Category C is NRI. Category A seats are AP-local only.

• Counselling registration: ₹3,000 OC/BC; ₹2,400 SC/ST (competent authority, 2026); management quota application ₹10,620 incl. GST (2025)

When counselling happens

2026: competent-authority registration 5–12 Aug (late fee to 14 Aug); management-quota notification and phases follow in Aug–Oct.
