Delhi has 1,247 seats in 8 government colleges and 250 seats in 2 private colleges (2025).
Who can apply
DU 85% Delhi quota: Class 12 must be passed from a recognised school located in NCT of Delhi (no Class 11 rule stated by Careers360). IPU counselling uses the IPU NEET merit list.
Private college seats: Delhi has no state-counselled private MBBS colleges; its private seats (e.g. HIMSR, Jamia Hamdard) are deemed/central-university seats filled through MCC, which is open to all India.

When counselling happens
2026: DU quota follows MCC rounds (Round 1 reporting 22–31 Aug). IPU: application 17–24 Aug, R1 allotment 27 Aug, R2 allotment 15 Sep, R3/stray later.
