Madhya Pradesh has 2,700 seats in 18 government colleges and 2,500 seats in 13 private colleges (2025).
Who can apply
State-quota seats need an MP domicile certificate plus an affidavit that the candidate is not domiciled in any other state.
Private college seats: Private seats are for MP-domicile candidates in the main rounds; Careers360 lists MP as 'open from the second round' (vacant private seats can go to non-domicile candidates in later/mop-up rounds).
Fees
- Government colleges: ₹1,00,000 (+ ₹14,000 one-time caution money) a year
- Private colleges: ₹9.25 lakh (RD Gardi, Ujjain) – ₹16.83 lakh (LN Medical College, Bhopal); NRI ₹27 – ₹49.74 lakh a year
- Counselling registration: ₹1,000 (non-refundable; per guides)
- Security deposit: ₹5,000 govt; ₹1,00,000 private (per guides)
Service bond
Per counselling guides: 1 year rural service or penalty ₹10 lakh (UR) / ₹5 lakh (reserved) for govt seats; seat-leaving bond reported at ₹30 lakh.
When counselling happens
2026: Round 2 registration 5–6 Sep, choice filling 7–9 Sep, allotment 11 Sep, reporting 12–18 Sep; mop-up round later. Resigning after allotment costs ₹2 lakh (₹10 lakh NRI).
