West Bengal has 3,826 seats in 26 government colleges and 1,800 seats in 11 private colleges (2025).
Who can apply
State-quota seats (govt and private state quota) are for West Bengal domicile candidates.
Private college seats: Non-WB candidates can register (as 'Category B' per guides) and are eligible only for management and NRI quota seats in private medical/dental colleges, not state-quota seats.

2026: Round 1 choice filling to 27 Aug, allotment 31 Aug, reporting 1–5 Sep; Round 2 in Sep; stray round registration from 16 Oct, result ~23 Oct, reporting to 26 Oct.
