Who can apply

State seats need Gujarat domicile (or birth in Gujarat) plus Classes 10 and 12 passed from Gujarat; domicile certificate needed if born outside Gujarat.

Private college seats: Careers360 lists Gujarat as 'closed'. Other-state candidates are effectively limited to NRI seats; one guide (Sartha) says management seats are open too, but its own NRI table requires Gujarat schooling, so treat as closed unless the 2026 rules say otherwise.

• Government colleges: GMERS colleges govt quota ₹3.75 lakh (from 2024-25); fully state-run colleges not confirmed a year
• Private colleges: Self-financed: ₹8.30 – ₹11.20 lakh (govt quota); ₹18.19 – ₹25.76 lakh (management quota); GMERS management ₹12 lakh a year
• Counselling registration: ₹1,000 (non-refundable PIN; per guide)
• Security deposit: ₹10,000 refundable (per guide)

Service bond

1 year compulsory govt (usually rural) service for govt-college MBBS graduates, or ₹20 lakh; policy under review after Maharashtra scrapped its bond (Jul 2026).

When counselling happens

2026: Round 1 PIN/registration 31 Jul–12 Aug, allotment 27 Aug; Round 2 registration 1–4 Sep, allotment 14 Sep; Round 3 registration 26–30 Sep; stray round later.
