How NEET is marked
NEET UG 2026 had 180 questions, 45 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, for 720 marks. A correct answer earns +4, a wrong answer costs −1, and an unanswered question scores 0. If NTA drops a question after the final key, everyone who attempted it gets 4 marks; a question with two correct options gets marks for either.
NTA has not yet published the NEET UG 2027 bulletin. If the pattern changes, this calculator will be updated.

How is the NEET score calculated?
Each correct answer earns 4 marks and each wrong answer costs 1 mark; unanswered questions score 0. The maximum is 720 for 180 questions.
Is the rank estimate exact?
No. It uses the 2026 marks–rank curve. Your real rank depends on how everyone else scored that year.
