Every point below links to its official source.

Key facts

  1. At reporting, MCC requires originals plus attested photocopies of: MCC allotment letter, NTA admit card, NTA result/rank letter, birth certificate (if the Class 10 certificate lacks DOB), Class 10 certificate, and Class 12 certificate and marksheet. [1]
  2. Candidates also need eight passport-size photos matching the application, and ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence or passport). [1]
  3. Where applicable, bring: an SC/ST certificate in standard format, an OBC-NCL certificate (central list), an EWS certificate in the prescribed format, and an MCC Medical Assessment Board eligibility certificate for PwD. [1]
  4. Certificates should be in English or Hindi. If one is in a regional language, carry an attested English/Hindi translation with the original. [1]
  5. If your name is spelt differently across documents, carry an affidavit stating they belong to the same person. [1]
  6. A note saying your originals are deposited with another institute is not accepted; you will not be admitted without the originals. [1]
  7. In 2026, all candidates (Freeze and Float) must also upload clear scans of their documents on the MCC portal, a one-time upload valid for all rounds. [1]
  8. NRI, OCI and foreign national candidates need extra documents such as a passport, NRI certificate from the embassy, OCI/PIO card, or AIU equivalence certificates for foreign boards. [1]
  9. Allotted colleges may ask for more documents; candidates should check the college information page. [1]
